If you’re anything like me, you love the idea of Christmas crafts… until you remember the glitter stuck to your floor until June. That’s why I rounded up a few simple, low-mess, kid-friendly crafts your little ones will love - without turning your house into a disaster zone.

These are perfect for cozy afternoons, winter break boredom, or keeping the kids busy while you’re trying to get holiday things done. No glue explosions, no paint everywhere, no stress.
Let’s get into it. 🎅🏾✨

A classic for a reason - cute, sturdy, and easy.
All you need:
Popsicle sticks
Markers
Stick-on gems or foam stickers
Ribbon or yarn
Let the kids turn them into:
Christmas trees
Reindeer faces
Snowflakes
Mini picture frames
Hang them on the tree or add them to gifts as homemade tags! (Grandparents freak out over these.) Low on time? Try this DIY kit via Etsy!
Nothing beats this winter classic - and it’s literally just paper and scissors.
Fold, snip, unfold… magic every time.
Kids love seeing how different each snowflake looks.

Hang them on windows, above the kids’ beds, or across a wall with string for instant holiday décor. Download a free template here!

Cut out simple shapes - circles, hearts, trees, snowflakes - and tape or glue them onto string or yarn.
Kids can color them first or leave them plain for a minimalist look.
This is perfect for decorating a kids’ play corner or your staircase. Try this fun Christmas Lights Garland by Honey and Lime!
Buy a pack of gel clings (Etsy, Dollar Tree, Amazon - all have them).
Let the kids decorate the windows, remove, and rearrange to their heart’s content.

No paint. No glue. No clean-up. I love these stickers from Amazon!
Grab blank cards or folded construction paper and let the kids go wild with holiday stickers.

Add crayons, washi tape, buttons, or markers if you want - but stickers alone already look adorable.
Let them make cards for teachers, grandparents, or neighbors. Check out this tutorial from Activities for Kids.

If you need a super low-energy option (no shame!), print a few coloring pages and let the kids color while you grab a moment to breathe.
Put on holiday music and you’ve got instant ambience.

Holiday crafts should be fun - not overwhelming.
These quick, low-mess activities give your kids the joy of creating something festive, while you keep your sanity and your kitchen table intact.
Throw on some Christmas music, set out a few supplies, and let the magic happen.
