There are moments in business that feel surreal… and this was definitely one of them.
This week, my daughters and I were invited to appear on PHL17’s Positively Philly to share one of our favorite Easter traditions - tie dyeing shirts instead of just dyeing eggs.

What started as something fun we did at home turned into a full circle moment… standing under studio lights, creating together, and showing other families a simple way to make lasting memories.
As a mom, I’m always looking for activities that go beyond the moment. The eggs are fun, but they don’t last. These shirts? My girls get to wear them, remember making them, and feel proud saying, “I made this.”
We walked through the process live - dyeing, and showing finished designs - while talking about how easy and kid-friendly this activity is for all ages. And of course, we shared how I take it a step further through my business, Mackenzie Madison of Philadelphia, by creating personalized pieces families can keep and celebrate in.
Being able to do this alongside my daughters made it even more special. They’ve been part of this journey since the very beginning, and moments like this remind me why I started.

If you’re looking for something fun to do with your kids this Easter, I highly recommend giving tie dye a try. My favorite tie dye kit is by HTV Ront and comes with EVERYTHING you need! Plastic table covers, gloves, rubber bands, all you need is a white cotton tee! Grab the kit here!
And if you’d rather skip the mess, you can always shop our personalized Easter styles online 💛 Although, it may not make it to you before Sunday!
