Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day enslaved people in Galveston, Texas finally learned they were free - more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It’s a day of truth, reflection, joy, and resistance.
At Mackenzie Madison of Philadelphia, Juneteenth is deeply personal. As a Black woman-owned business, we’re proud to create clothing that not only looks good - but means something. These pieces help you spark conversations, teach your children, and celebrate heritage in style.

Nothing says unity like a coordinating set that honors our ancestors and our future.

When you shop with us, you’re not just buying a shirt - you’re investing in a dream, a mission, and a movement. Our brand was born in a hospital room when our founder's daughter was fighting for her life with a congenital heart defect. That journey of strength and resilience still fuels everything we do.
Supporting Black-owned businesses during Juneteenth (and all year long) helps close racial wealth gaps, amplifies Black voices, and keeps our history alive in meaningful ways.
Whether you’re headed to a parade, hosting a cookout, or simply reflecting with your kids, we hope you wear our shirts with pride. Your support helps us continue creating pieces that matter - and that make you feel proud, seen, and rooted in purpose.
