Spring is right around the corner, which means it’s time to shake off the winter blues and refresh your home! But let’s be real - moms don’t have hours to spend deep-cleaning every corner. If you’re juggling work, kids, and everything in between, here are some quick and easy spring cleaning hacks to get your home feeling fresh - without spending all day scrubbing!
Instead of trying to clean everything in one day, set a timer for 15 minutes and tackle one task at a time. Whether it's wiping down kitchen counters, clearing out a junk drawer, or vacuuming one room - small wins add up!
Some areas in your home collect clutter faster than others (entryway tables, kitchen counters, or kids’ toy areas). Start with these problem spots and get rid of anything you don’t need. Less clutter = less mess to clean later!
If you haven’t worn it in a year, donate it! Go through closets and create keep, donate, and toss piles. Bonus hack: Turn all your hangers backward - whatever is still backward in a few months, you probably won’t wear again!
Cleaning doesn’t have to be boring! Listen to a podcast, put on a playlist, or even call a friend while you tidy up. It’ll make the time fly by and keep you motivated!
Spring cleaning is a family effort! Give kids age-appropriate tasks like sorting toys, wiping down surfaces, or folding laundry. Make it fun by turning chores into a game with a reward at the end!
Skip the harsh chemicals and make your own all-purpose cleaner:
✨ Mix 1 cup vinegar + 1 cup water + a few drops of lemon or lavender essential oil in a spray bottle.
It smells amazing and works wonders on surfaces!
We always clean the obvious stuff, but when was the last time you washed these?
✅ Shower curtains
✅ Pillowcases & throw blankets
✅ Door handles & light switches
✅ Inside the fridge (yikes!)
Instead of one big cleaning day, spread it out over the week. Do one task per day—like wiping baseboards on Monday, vacuuming on Tuesday, etc. This keeps your home clean without the stress!
Spring cleaning doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With these quick, easy hacks, you’ll have your home feeling fresh in no time—without sacrificing your entire weekend!
