Fall is almost here and you already know we're getting ready for all the apple picking, pumpkin picking and fall family fun!
If you're looking for fall things to do in Philly with kids, Shady Brook Farm's FallFest is officially back September 11 through October 30 in Yardley, PA. We're heading there with the girls this September and I'm already excited because there is SO much to do.
FallFest has more than 25 attractions and activities for families, including wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, jumping pillow, pedal go-karts, barnyard animals, live entertainment and more.
But I already know one of the things we're going to have to check out - the Sesame Street Corn Maze!
This year's 4-acre corn maze features Sesame Street characters and trivia throughout the maze. You answer questions and follow the clues to find your way out. And if you're feeling brave, you can even bring a flashlight and try the maze after dark!
Because what is fall without picking something? 😂
Families can visit the pumpkin patch and, when available, pick apples during FallFest. Pick-your-own crops are an additional cost and availability can change throughout the season, so I'd recommend checking what's available before your visit.

If you have bigger kids or want to stay later, FallFest changes once the sun goes down.
Their Eerie Illuminations Halloween Light Show is a tractor-drawn wagon ride through Halloween lights synchronized to music. There's also a Moonlit Maze, Haunted Barn, Alien Encounter, bonfires and live music on select dates. Shady Brook describes the nighttime activities as spooky fun rather than scary, which sounds right up our alley.
