Fall in Philly means crisp air, cozy sweaters, and of course - pumpkin picking! If you’re looking for the best pumpkin patches near Philadelphia to visit with your kids this season, I’ve rounded up some of my family’s favorite spots (plus a new one opening right here in the city!). Whether you want hayrides, apple cider donuts, or the perfect pumpkin for your front porch, these local farms and patches deliver all the fall vibes.

A true family favorite, Johnson’s offers hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a corn maze, and their famous apple cider donuts. They also have a beautiful market with fresh pies and seasonal treats that make it worth the trip from Philly.
You can’t do fall without Linvilla! From Pumpkinland displays to pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and more, Linvilla is a one-stop shop for seasonal fun. They also have hayrides, face painting, and plenty of kid-friendly activities.

Shady Brook is known for their huge pumpkin patch, live entertainment, and fall festival weekends. Families love the barnyard animals, wagon rides, and tasty farm snacks. It’s also a great spot if you’re looking for nighttime fun with their fall light show and haunted attractions.

This farm is Insta-worthy with its gorgeous fields and family-friendly pumpkin picking. Dalton Farms also hosts seasonal flower festivals earlier in the year, so their fall experience is full of beautiful photo ops and fresh farm charm.
For the first time, Philly families don’t have to head to the suburbs for a true pumpkin patch experience. The new Cityside Pumpkin Patch is opening right here in the city, making it easy to enjoy pumpkin picking, hayrides, and fall festivities without leaving town.
No matter which spot you choose, visiting a pumpkin patch is one of those memory-making traditions your kids will never forget. Grab your flannels, pack the camera, and get ready for all the fall fun Philly has to offer!
