One of my favorite ways to celebrate fall with my kids is by curling up with a good book. 🍂 There are so many sweet picture books that capture the magic of autumn - changing leaves, pumpkins, cozy nights, and family traditions. Whether you buy them for your home library or borrow them from your local library, these fall books are perfect for storytime.
Here are some of our favorites:
A whimsical story where leaves drift and transform into fun shapes - great for inspiring leaf crafts after reading.
A gentle, beautifully illustrated book about the seasonal shift.
A silly and fun story about a squirrel who can’t figure out where his leaves are going.
Perfect for younger kids who love repetition and adventure (like We’re Going on a Bear Hunt but fall-themed!).
A cozy tale of friendship, teamwork, and of course - pumpkin soup.
A simple, classic fall read that’s perfect for toddlers.
A touching story about kindness, friendship, and nature, with stunning illustrations.
Beautifully written and illustrated, this book highlights the small changes kids can notice in nature.
A sweet story about exploring nature with a grandparent and celebrating the beauty of autumn.
A silly, rhyming book that kids will want to read over and over again.
📚 Mom Tip: Borrow these books from your local library before buying - you’ll save money and discover even more seasonal favorites. If your kids fall in love with a title, then it’s worth adding to your Amazon cart!
