Best Things to do with Kids in Winter - Philly Edition

It's officially winter season here in Philly, but that doesn't mean the exploring and fun has to stop. I can admit, we're not big winter people. You won't catch us skiing or sledding, however, we do enjoy getting out of the house on warmer winter days. 

Philadelphia, PA is full of history and arts. We've got some amazing museums and historic sites to visit!

Here's a list of fun things to do with kids in winter in Philly:

• Independence BlueCross RiverRink WinterFest - enjoy an evening of ice skating under twinkling lights then sit by the a campfire to warm up!
• Chilly Philly Mini Golf at Franklin Square - Putt the ball in the heart of historic Philadelphia - golfing around miniature sites of Philly!
• A Night at the Museum by The Academy of Natural Sciences - a fun overnight stay at this awesome museum based on nature. 
• Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink - ice skate in front of city hall at Dilworth Park's rink!
• Wonderspaces Interactive Art Exhibit - a fun interactive art exhibit featuring works of art from various artists. 
• Please Touch Museum - explore their new Pixar Inside Out Exhibit starting January 27th!
• The Franklin Institute - perfect for big kids, explore the Disney 100 Exhibit beginning February 18th!

Ice skating, museum trips, and trampoline parks! There's so much to keep your kiddos busy during the winter season! We'll continue to update this list as we find more things to do in Philly with kids this winter!
