As a mompreneur I get asked all of the time "how do you juggle it all" and while some days are better than others, I don't like thinking of myself as a busy mom.

Personally, being busy doesn't feel good. When I'm really busy I tend to be overwhelmed and overworked. I'm forgetful and not in my best mindset. While I wear many titles (homeschooling mom, small business mom, wife, daughter, etc) I like to remind myself that I am the common denominator and that I need to be healthy and present to show up. I definitely didn't enter motherhood with this knowledge, it has come along the years.

Here's my advice for busy moms:
Prioritize and delegate: Make a list of tasks and prioritize them based on their importance. Delegate tasks to family members or friends if possible.
Take breaks: It's important to take breaks and recharge your batteries. Even 10-15 minutes of alone time can help you feel refreshed.
Practice self-care: Take care of your physical and mental health by eating well, exercising, getting enough sleep, and doing activities that you enjoy.
Simplify your routine: Find ways to simplify your daily routine by using shortcuts, meal planning, and organizing your schedule.
Ask for help: Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Reach out to other moms, family members, or hire a babysitter or housekeeper to give you some extra support.

Remember, being a mom is a full-time job, and it's okay to take time for yourself to avoid burnout. You are doing your best, and that's all anyone can ask for. Don't feel guilty for putting limits on things. There was a time when my girls were heading to some type of sport or class, what felt like every day. After a few months of the constant driving to and from practices and classes, I gave both girls an option of two activities per season. Luckily, they both take swim classes at the same level so that's two in one! It felt good to drive less and free up our schedule a little more. Plus, they both can decid if they'd like to continue on with the sport/class into the next season or try something new!
