Filling Easter baskets can be exciting! As a mom, I look forward to finding little things to toss in my girls' baskets. I treat our Easter baskets as an early "it's almost summer" gift! One of my girls is super crafty so I'm going for an 'artsy' themed basket which will include sidewalk chalk, a new set of markers, things that she can draw and create with! My other kiddo is all about makeup these days! She loves squishies, so I am going for a 'girly' themed basket! I'll include lip gloss, nail art and polish, and gel pens with a journal (because although she's into being super cute these days, she wants to do all of the things big sis does too! ;).

When creating your baskets - find a theme! I also like to create a budget! I could go crazy buying up (and making) all of the cute things but it's just Easter - not Christmas!

Include books in your baskets. My girls LOVE The Great Eggscape book! It's such a cute book and fun to read as a family!

This year, I plan on gifting both girls a $10 Amazon gift card to purchase a digital or audio book on their kindles! Wow, can you tell they're not little anymore?! I want to encourage more reading, especially as we get closer to summer break. We gifted them Kindle Kids since they were obsessed with me and my digital books!
