If you’re looking for the perfect family-friendly way to celebrate fall in Philly, mark your calendars for Harvest Fest at Awbury Arboretum! Happening Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM, this annual event is free to attend!
Hosted at The Farm at Awbury (6336 Ardleigh St.), Harvest Fest brings together the best of the season: food, crafts, music, and community fun.

From hayrides to live music, there’s something for everyone in the family. Spend the day exploring the farm, supporting local businesses, and soaking in all the fall vibes.
Here’s a peek at what you can expect:

Shop from a wide range of local vendors including Pangaea Fair Trade, Shell’s Shea Naturals, Ritual Wreaths, Bell Naturals, and G Fresh Emporium. You’ll find handmade goods, artisan crafts, and fun fall treasures to take home.
Food trucks and local vendors will be serving everything from funnel cakes and tacos to cider and mead. Some featured vendors include Frios Pops, Hardy Funnel Cakes, Calaveras Tacos, Pennsylvania Meadworks, and Flat Belly Veg.

Meet animals and local partners from the Philly Goat Project, Weavers Way Farms, and Selah by Design, plus garden demos and family activities led by the Penn State Master Gardeners.
Enjoy performances from local favorites:
12:00 PM — Wissahickon Bridge
2:00 PM — Electric Grioland
Take a scenic hayride through the farm and stop by the craft tables for fall-themed art projects. (Hayride tickets available soon!)
Awbury Arboretum’s Harvest Fest is one of those events that perfectly captures the spirit of Philly - community-driven, creative, and welcoming for all ages. Kids can explore freely, parents can shop or relax, and everyone leaves with a smile (and maybe a cider donut or two).
It’s the perfect fall day trip for families looking to celebrate the season without leaving the city.
