Football season is back in Philly! 🦅
Last week we took the girls to Eagles Open Practice at Lincoln Financial Field, and it was such a fun way to kick off football season and let them experience a little piece of Philly sports culture.
We got there around 6:30 PM which, apparently, was late. By the time we made it inside, most of the lower seats were filled so we headed waaaaay up top. We could see the entire field, the stadium was full of Eagles fans, and we even had a gorgeous view of the Philadelphia skyline in the distance. There's just something about being inside the Linc surrounded by a sea of green that makes you feel like football season is officially here!
I really loved that Open Practice gave us a chance to bring the kids into the whole Eagles experience without the pressure (or price 😭) of an actual game.
We watched the players practice, walked around the stadium, grabbed some drinks and snacks and, of course, took plenty of pictures.
If you're raising little Philly sports fans, Eagles Open Practice is definitely something I'd put on your summer bucket list for next year. I'd just recommend getting there earlier than we did if you want your pick of seats!
You know we weren't going to the Linc without representing Philly. 😂

One of my favorite parts of raising our kids in Philadelphia is getting to share the traditions and experiences that make this city feel like home.
We had such a good time at Open Practice, even from waaaaay up top. 😂 The girls got to experience the Linc, we got some great family photos and we officially kicked off another season of yelling GO BIRDS!
