We spent the afternoon checking out the brand-new ClimbZone Philadelphia, and my family had such a great time!
If you're looking for indoor things to do in Philadelphia with kids, especially on hot summer days or rainy weekends, this is definitely one to add to your list.
We were invited to experience their 90-minute climbing session, and from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome.

Before climbing, everyone was fitted with a harness and received a safety lesson. The staff walked us through everything, making sure we felt comfortable before getting started.
There were team members stationed throughout the climbing area, so if anyone needed help, someone was always nearby.
The entire facility was also incredibly clean, which is always something I notice when visiting family attractions.

One of the coolest parts of ClimbZone is that the climbing walls aren't just plain rock walls - they're themed!
According to ClimbZone, there are 50 themed climbing walls, and each one feels like a new adventure.
Some of our favorites included:
🧀 The giant bookshelf (my husband couldn't stop laughing because he said growing up he was always tempted to climb the bookshelves at home!)
🏙️ The Philadelphia-themed climbing wall (this one was my favorite!)
There were so many different designs that every climb felt unique.

After climbing, we took on the high ropes course.
It definitely challenged us, but it was also a lot of fun.
If your kids love obstacle courses or enjoy testing themselves, they'll probably love this part too.

One thing I really liked is that ClimbZone offers more than climbing walls.
Families can also enjoy:
🎮 Arcade games
🛝 A soft play area for younger children
🎢 Adventure slides (coming soon!)
We'll definitely be back once the slides open because they look like they're going to be a fun addition.
Â
Absolutely.
My girls had an amazing time, and honestly... so did the adults.
It's active, different from your typical indoor play space, and a great way to burn energy while staying cool during the summer.
Whether you're planning a family outing, looking for a rainy-day activity, or searching for indoor fun in Philadelphia, ClimbZone is definitely worth checking out.

I'm always sharing family-friendly attractions, seasonal events, and fun places to explore around Philadelphia.
