Our kids are still on summer break, so we’re squeezing in a few more summer memories! Today’s adventure took us to the Ennoble Care Philly Open for an afternoon of professional women’s tennis in Philadelphia.

The tournament marks the return of professional women’s tennis to Philly for the first time in 22 years. It features more than 40 athletes competing at the Hamlin Tennis Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

My daughter and I had such a great time watching the matches. The energy was exciting, the venue felt welcoming, and it was a fun opportunity for them to experience professional women’s sports right here in our city.
Even if your children have never watched tennis before, attending a live match is an easy way to introduce them to the sport. It also gave us another chance to get out of the house and make a summer memory together.
The Ennoble Care Philly Open runs through Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Hamlin Tennis Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
Limited street parking is available near the tennis center, so give yourself extra time to park and walk to the entrance. Nearby parking garages are also available.
If you’re searching for things to do in Philly with kids this week, add the Philly Open to your family’s plans. Visit the official Ennoble Care Philly Open website for the latest schedule, ticket information, and arrival details.
Disclosure: We received complimentary admission to attend and share our experience. All opinions are my own.
