Summer is coming to an end! Before we know it, the kids will be back in school, but we still have a few weeks left to squeeze in a little fun!
We were recently invited to visit Time Mission Philadelphia at 15th & Chestnut. My husband and I actually attended their opening celebration last October and had so much fun that I knew I wanted to come back with our girls.

Time Mission is made up of 25+ different challenge rooms where teams of 2ā5 people race against the clock to collect points. Think puzzles, riddles, physical challenges, teamwork and a little friendly competition.Ā
Walking into Time Mission feels like stepping into a futuristic game zone. We were greeted by an awesome staff member who explained how everything worked, put our bags in the free lockers and sent us off to our first challenge.
And the first room?! It was giving Squid Game!

We had 10 seconds to hit any lit buttons and then five seconds to hide from the masks shooting lasers across the room. So much fun!
We tried a bunch of different challenges throughout our visit. Some had us solving riddles and puzzles, while others had us moving around and working together. I especially loved that after a summer of endless screen time, the girls were using their brains, moving their bodies and figuring things out together.
And yes, the adults were absolutely trying to win too. š
One thing I really liked about Time Mission is that it works especially well for families with older kids. Time Mission recommends the experience for ages 7+, and I can definitely see why.

If you've moved beyond the toddler attractions and are looking for something the whole family can genuinely enjoy together, add this one to your list. It would also be fun for a birthday, family outing, rainy day or one of those random school days off when you're desperately GooglingĀ things to do in Philly with kids. Been there. š
We had a great time and already want to go back to try more of the challenges!
