The Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia is inviting local teens to kick off the school year with an empowering outdoor event! The Rooted & Rising: Meet & Greet in Nature is happening on Saturday, September 23, 2025, and it’s all about connection, growth, and fun.

📅 Date: Saturday, September 23, 2025
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Meet-Up Spot: Marconi Plaza
💵 Cost: FREE (includes a meal!)
✅ Open to high school students
Teens will spend the day hiking, enjoying a meal together, and making new friends in the fresh air. It’s a chance for youth to step away from screens, connect with nature, and build community before diving into the school year.
👉 What to Bring & Wear:
Comfortable shoes + weather-appropriate clothing
SEPTA pass and water bottle
Signed permission form
Registration is free, but spots are limited. The deadline to register is September 19, 2025.
This program is part of the Rooted & Rising initiative, which helps Philly youth grow, lead, and rise into their future with confidence.
