As the temperatures drop, one Philly organization is stepping up to make sure no one faces the cold alone. ❄️
The Network of Women with Strength and Integrity (NOWSI) is hosting a free community coat drive - Stay Warm, Stay Strong - to help local families stay cozy this season. From Friday, October 17 through November 7, families can visit the Strawberry Green Driving Range (1500 N. 33rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19121) to pick up free coats, hats, gloves, and scarves for all ages.

This three-week community event is open to everyone. Whether you need winter essentials for your children or just want to spread the word to others who might, it’s a beautiful example of Philly’s spirit of care and connection.
Families can stop by during the event period to choose from a variety of winter items - all donated with love by community members.

As parents, we know how quickly kids outgrow their coats and gloves - and how tough it can be to keep up as the weather changes. Events like this help ensure every child in our city stays warm, comfortable, and confident this winter.
This drive is about more than clothing - it’s about community. It’s a reminder that when Philly families come together, everyone thrives.
