If you haven't heard, South Philly's FDR Park (on Broad and Pattison) has turned into a winter wonderland! Tinseltown offers a 13,000 square foot ice rink, a hill to sled down, Christmas stories with Mrs. Claus, the Mistletoe Marketplace, and hot cocoa! Tinseltown is a MUST do this December! We're going next week and we are so excited!

Visit the Philadelphia Zoo to experience it like you've never before! Millions of sparkling lights glow upon the zoo for LumiNature. Grab some hot cocoa and a snack as you explore the zoo. Your kids will enjoy the many new attractions! We visited last year and it was by far our favorite holiday lights experience!
The Luminocity Festival is a must visit! It's first year in the area, it's housed at the Greater Philadelphia Expo center (about 45 minutes outside of Philly). This beautiful adventure is one your kids should love! We're slated to attend next week and I must say, my eight year old is excited! She's watched many Youtube videos!
It's a real life Hallmark Christmas movie on 13th street! Every year the 1600 block of South 13th street turns into Christmas magic and it is one FREE holiday event you don't want to miss! Plan to spend a little time finding parking, maybe visit a coffee shop on Passyunk for some hot cocoa, then head over to Miracle on 13th street! Be sure to visit their official Facebook page as they host events each weekend!
