Fall in Philly is pretty magical! Especially with kids! From pumpkin patches to haunted houses, there's so much to do during fall in Philadelphia with your children.
Plan to visit a few of the many local farms surrounding Philadelphia!




If traveling outside of the city is tough, don't worry! The city embraces the fall season with festivals and more!
Enjoy a beautiful afternoon at Longwood Gardens' pumpkin playground!
Starting October 1st through the 31st, Philly Mini Golf at the historic Franklin Square in Center City is one fall event you won't want to miss! The 16-hole miniature golf course turns spooky with fog, lights, and halloween themed music! Spooky Mini Golf runs from 6pm-9pm; adults $15, children $12. Access card discounts are not valid for holiday attractions.
Continuing on with our spooky celebration, stroll over to Betsy Ross' House for a spooktacular tour of Philadelphia in the 1700's. You'll learn about the gruesome history of Philly's fight against infection and more. Tours begin October 13th and are not intended for smaller children.
Peddler's Village's Scarecrow Walk is a great attraction to visit. Walk the charming, storybook streets while viewing amazingly spooky scarecrows. Visit during the Scarecrow Festival (September 16th & 17th) to take a scarecrow making class!
The Delaware River Festival happens at Pennslanding on September 9th from 10am-4pm! Celebrate what brings people together with ferry boat rides, museum visits, pedal bikes, and so much more! This event is free to attend!
The East Passyunk Music Festival is a great way to kick off the fall season! Enjoy live music, good foods, and shops! Music by DJ DiamondKuts, Cosmo Baker, and more. This happens Sunday, September 10th!
The Fall for Ardmore Festival celebrates 150 years of Ardmore with live music, drinks, kids' activities, shopping, and more! This event happens September 30th!
The Kimmel Center will host their Philadelphia Fall Arts Fest on Saturday, September 22nd. This free event will have live performances and fun activities! Be sure to RSVP.
The Roxtober Fest happens October 7th in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia! Live music, activities for kids, and lots of beer!
Chestnut Hill's Fall for the Arts Festival is back again for another year! Enjoy live music, food, and shopping with local vendors! This event happens October 8th from 11am to 5pm.
