Looking for a creative family outing this fall? On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens is hosting PECO Family Jams: Eggshell Mosaics, a hands-on art event perfect for kids and parents alike.
Inspired by artist Isaiah Zagar’s mosaic techniques, families will get the chance to paint eggshells, smash them, and create their own tiny mosaic artwork to take home. It’s a fun (and slightly messy!) way for kids to learn about art and express themselves.
During the event, families can also join free basement tours at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. to see Zagar’s famous mosaics up close and learn more about his creative process.
