Being a single parent in Philly comes with its challenges, but opportunities like this make things a little brighter. Right now, single-parent families in Philadelphia can apply for a grant of up to $1,000 to support their children’s growth and development.
The Single-Parent Families Grant can be used toward a variety of children’s programs, including:
🎨 Artistic and creative pursuits
📚 Education opportunities and tutoring
⚽ Athletic programs and activities
🌞 Summer camps
💼 Vocational advancements
🧠 Mental wellness resources
This grant is designed to ease financial stress for single parents while helping kids explore new opportunities, build confidence, and develop their talents.

Single moms (and dads!) in Philly can submit their application through Caring People Alliance or partner organizations working with the program.
As a Philly mom myself, I know how impactful programs like this can be. Whether your child wants to join a sports team, explore art classes, or attend a summer camp, this grant can help make it possible.
